Meetings, Conventions, Events

Meetings, conventions, and seminars are among the most important activities of any voluntary membership organization. No association management firm or meeting planning company in the United States is more qualified in the area of meeting planning and management than Advanced Management Concepts.

Our experience stretches from half-day committee meetings for a handful of people to week-long conventions and trade shows for thousands of people. We have conducted meetings in every major destination in the United States, including Hawaii, and have handled events in Canada, the Caribbean, Latin America, and Europe. We've arranged appearances by top business executives, entertainment personalities, sports figures, leading writers, and Presidents of the United States.

We take pride in the fact that on several occasions people who have observed our meeting management skills have subsequently contacted us for help with their events.

We treat each meeting for what it really is — a theatrical production, an event. Of course, that isn't always easy to do. Planning, arranging, and finally executing a meeting, conference, or seminar is one of the most complex undertakings in the world of business. Meetings involve assembling many disparate physical elements into a coherent whole, and coordinating a vast amount of human effort.

Most important of all is knowing what must be done to produce a successful meeting, and how to do it. (It's also important to know what can go wrong and how to make sure it doesn't!) With nearly a half century of aggregate meeting planning and management experience to draw upon we have that knowledge.

Creativity is an indispensable part of an outstanding meeting. We're proud of our record of bringing exciting new ideas to meetings. We have done everything from transporting participants in carriages to offering hot air balloon rides. We've held formal dinners on yachts, in museums, and an aquarium, and arranged a picnic in a steel mill. We've run meetings in Milan and Maui, Brussels and Boston, Quebec and Costa Rica, and in dozens of other destinations.

Creativity extends to meeting promotion activities. We have been responsible for many award-winning promotion materials. We have also used letter-size flyers from quick-print shops. We know how to get the most impact from five-figure promotion budgets, and how to live with three figure budgets and get results.
